How our Atlanta prom limo service works
Homecoming, winter formals and graduation nights are booked the same way.
- One parent or guardian is the contact on the reservation and approves the plan
- Pickup addresses, photo stops, the venue and the return address are fixed in advance
- The chauffeur follows the plan; changes go through the parent contact
- No alcohol, smoking or vaping on board
Prom limo vehicles by group size
| Group size | Vehicle |
|---|---|
| Up to 10 | Stretch limousine |
| 10–14 | Mercedes Sprinter limo |
| 14–18 | Stretch SUV limousine |
| 20–40 | Party bus |
How much does it cost for a limo for prom?
Prom limos are priced by the vehicle and the hours booked, with a minimum number of hours on prom weekends. The biggest factor is the vehicle: a stretch limo for eight costs less than a party bus for thirty, but split across the group the larger vehicle can cost less per student.
Your quote lists the vehicle, the hours, gratuity and any fees, so parents can split the total without surprises. Ask for the per-person split when you request the quote.
Want to rent a limo for prom? Ask for the price with the per-student split. Smaller groups can also book a car service for prom, a sedan or SUV, for a couple or a few friends.
Atlanta prom limo rentals across the metro
We pick up prom groups across the city and the suburbs, including Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Roswell, Marietta, Lawrenceville and Peachtree City, and drive to venues across Atlanta.
Atlanta prom limos are reserved first on the most popular spring weekends, so book early.
A parent’s checklist for prom transportation
- One parent named as the contact on the reservation
- The full list of students riding, matched to the seats in the vehicle
- Every pickup address, photo stop, the dinner and the venue
- The return address and the return time
- The rules on board, read and agreed by the group
- The chauffeur’s name and phone number, shared with the parent contact
- A plan for splitting the cost, agreed before the deposit
Prom limo safety rules, explained
Parents ask why the rules are so firm. The answer is simple: the chauffeur is responsible for a vehicle full of students, and a clear plan is what keeps the night fun and safe.
Alcohol, smoking and vaping are not allowed. The route and the stops are fixed in advance, and the chauffeur does not add stops that are not on the plan. Changes go through the parent contact, not the students. What happens if a rule is broken is written in the booking terms that the parent approves.
How to split the cost of a prom limo
Most prom groups split one booking. The simplest way is for one parent to book and pay, then collect each family’s share before the night.
Step 1: decide the group and the vehicle size.
Step 2: request a quote with the total, the hours, gratuity and fees.
Step 3: divide the total by the number of riders; a larger vehicle with more riders can cost less per student.
Step 4: one parent books and pays; the others pay their share to that parent.
Prom season in metro Atlanta
Most high school proms in the metro fall between March and May, and the most popular Saturdays are booked first. Stretch SUVs and party buses are reserved earliest, because big friend groups want them. If your prom is on a Friday, or your group can take an earlier pickup, you will usually have more choice.
Limo, Sprinter or party bus for prom?
| Vehicle | Group size | Why groups choose it |
|---|---|---|
| Stretch limousine | Up to 10 | The classic prom photo |

| Stretch SUV limousine | 14–18 | Bigger groups with the limousine look |

Homecoming, winter formal, graduation and senior night
Homecoming
The fall dance is booked the same way as prom: a parent contact, a fixed plan and no alcohol.
Winter formals and military balls
Smaller groups often choose a stretch limousine or a Sprinter for the evening.
Graduation
Family rides to the ceremony and a celebration dinner afterward, in an SUV or a Sprinter.
Senior night and grad parties
A party bus for the group, with the same rules for riders under 21.
Popular prom photo stops around Atlanta
Most groups add one or two photo stops between the pickups and dinner. Popular spots include Piedmont Park, the Jackson Street Bridge with its view of the Downtown skyline, Historic Fourth Ward Park, the Marietta Square, the Roswell Mill and Avalon in Alpharetta. Some parks and gardens require a photography permit or limit groups, so check before the day, and keep each stop short so the timeline holds.
Dinner before prom
If the group is going out to dinner, book a table that seats everyone and leave enough time to eat without rushing. The chauffeur waits during dinner, and the restaurant is part of the plan approved by the parent contact.
Prom night timeline
The parent contact approves the timeline when booking. Any change on the night goes through the parent contact.
- Pickups at each student’s home, or one meeting point
- Photos at a home, a park or a landmark
- Dinner, if the group is going out
- Arrival at the prom venue
- Return to the agreed drop-off address at the agreed time
