ATL · Domestic & International Terminals
Our ATL airport car service meets you at Hartsfield-Jackson whether you land at the Domestic Terminal or the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal. Your chauffeur follows the flight, waits where you chose when you booked and drives you straight to your home, hotel or office, with one flat price agreed before the trip.
Hartsfield-Jackson is the main hub of Delta Air Lines and one of the busiest passenger airports in the world. That scale is exactly why the last step of the journey is hard to predict: long walks from the gate, busy baggage claims, crowded pickup lanes and rideshare prices that climb after every bank of arrivals. A booked chauffeur service at ATL airport takes that uncertainty away. The vehicle is reserved, the chauffeur is assigned and the price is fixed before you board your flight.
We run ATL airport transfers around the clock in luxury sedans, executive SUVs, Mercedes Sprinters and mini buses, for solo business travelers, families with car seats, VIP guests and groups of thirty. Arriving for a celebration? See our ATL airport limo service for stretch limousines and limo-style Sprinters.
Airport: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
Address: 6000 N Terminal Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30320

Every ATL booking is built on the same four promises. They are what separate a pre-arranged car service from waiting at the curb for whoever accepts the ride.
Whether you call it a Hartsfield-Jackson airport car service, an ATL airport chauffeur service or simply a ride home from the airport, the booking works the same way: one reserved vehicle, one assigned chauffeur and one written price.
Your airline and flight number are on the reservation. If the flight lands early, the chauffeur is already there; if it is delayed, the pickup moves with it and you do not need to call.
You receive the chauffeur’s name, mobile number and vehicle before you land, so you know who is meeting you and how to reach them the moment your phone is back on.
The quote lists the vehicle, the trip, gratuity, tolls, airport fees and any meet-and-greet or wait time. The price you approve is the price you pay, at 5 a.m. or on a holiday weekend.
The vehicle carries only your party, from the terminal straight to your address. No shared stops, no transfers and no waiting for other passengers.
Hartsfield-Jackson has two terminal buildings on opposite sides of the airfield, and knowing which one you use matters for both pickups and drop-offs. The two are linked inside security by the Plane Train, but by road they are a long drive apart, so the terminal is always part of your booking.
Every reservation includes chauffeur services at ATL airport for both terminals, so you do not need to know the airport layout yourself; tell us the airline and the chauffeur handles the rest.
Most domestic flights arrive at and depart from the Domestic Terminal on the west side of the airport. It is split into a North side and a South side, and airlines are assigned to one or the other, with baggage claim following the same split. Under the airport’s ground transportation guidance, pre-arranged chauffeured cars meet passengers either inside the terminal near the atrium or curbside on the lower level. With meet-and-greet, your chauffeur waits inside at your baggage claim area with a name sign; with curbside pickup, the chauffeur confirms the lower-level curb and door by message once you have your bags.
Most international arrivals clear immigration and customs at the International Terminal on the east side of the airport, and most international departures leave from there. Here the airport directs pre-arranged chauffeured cars to meet passengers inside on the Arrivals level or outside at the Arrivals outer curb. Some international passengers who connect through a domestic flight arrive on the domestic side instead; your airline confirms which. We plan extra wait time for international arrivals because customs lines vary widely.
Like any large airport, ATL adjusts curbs, doors and pickup zones during construction and busy periods. Rather than relying on a sign that may have moved, your chauffeur sends the exact meeting point by text or call after you land, based on your terminal, your flight and the pickup option you booked.
Switch your phone on as soon as you land and keep it handy; the chauffeur’s message will already be waiting. Collect all your bags before heading to a curbside pickup. If you are traveling with a group, send one message when everyone is together. And if your bags are delayed or lost, let the chauffeur know while you file the claim, so the wait can be extended.
Both options are private and flight-tracked. The difference is where you meet your chauffeur and how much help you get with the bags.
| Meet-and-greet | Curbside pickup | |
|---|---|---|
| Where you meet | Inside at baggage claim, with a name sign | At the pickup area for pre-arranged rides |
| Help with bags | From the carousel to the vehicle | At the vehicle |
| Best for | First-time visitors, VIP guests, families, heavy luggage, international arrivals | Frequent flyers with light luggage |
| Phone needed on arrival | No: the chauffeur finds you | Yes: you message when ready |
| On your quote | Listed as its own line | Base option |
For a ride to ATL, the pickup time is worked out from your departure time, your terminal, your bag count and the usual drive from your address at that hour. Airlines generally ask passengers to arrive about two hours before a domestic flight and three hours before an international one, and the Downtown Connector, I-85 and I-75 can slow sharply in the morning and evening rush. We confirm the pickup time on your reservation, so nothing is left to guesswork on the morning of the flight.
Early-morning and red-eye departures are booked the same way as a midday flight. For details on rides in this direction, including suburb-by-suburb routes, see our car service to Atlanta airport page; for arrivals, see car service from Atlanta airport.
Atlanta Hartsfield airport transportation for departures is planned the night before, not on the morning of the flight.
Hartsfield-Jackson sits about 10 miles south of Downtown Atlanta. These are typical drive times outside rush hour; peak traffic can add a lot, and your quote is a flat price whatever the traffic does.
| Destination | Approx. distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Downtown Atlanta | About 10 miles | 15–25 minutes |
| Midtown | About 13 miles | 20–30 minutes |
| Buckhead | About 17 miles | 25–35 minutes |
| Sandy Springs / Perimeter | About 22 miles | 30–40 minutes |
| Marietta | About 25 miles | 35–50 minutes |
| Peachtree City | About 25 miles | 30–40 minutes |
| Alpharetta | About 33 miles | 45–60 minutes |
| Lawrenceville | About 40 miles | 50–60 minutes |
| Augusta | About 150 miles | About 2.5 hours |
A sedan or SUV with a professional chauffeur, receipts by email and the option to keep the car between meetings. Assistants can book for executives and visiting clients. See corporate transportation.
An executive SUV with room for suitcases, strollers and car seats. Georgia law requires most young children to ride in a child restraint, so tell us each child’s age and the number of seats when you book, and we confirm the arrangement on the quote.
Meet-and-greet at baggage claim, a chauffeur who handles the bags and a quiet, discreet ride. Ideal for speakers, performers, board members and clients you are hosting.
Sprinters and mini buses work as a private shuttle for teams, delegates and wedding guests, with several flights combined into one schedule. See Atlanta airport shuttle service.
A honeymoon departure, a milestone birthday trip or a wedding party arriving together usually calls for a limousine rather than a car; see ATL airport limo service.
The right vehicle depends on the number of travelers and, at the airport especially, on the luggage. Bags take space that seat counts do not show, so always tell us the bag count with the passenger count.
For one to three travelers with light to moderate luggage: business arrivals, couples and solo travelers. Leather rear seats, a quiet ride and trunk space for two or three large bags. See the luxury sedan.
For up to six travelers, or fewer with a lot of luggage: families with car seats and strollers, golf trips, small executive teams and VIP guests who want more space. See the executive SUV.
Forward-facing captain’s seats for corporate teams and private groups who want to ride together and arrive ready for meetings. See the Mercedes Sprinter.
A Sprinter configured with fewer seats and more room at the rear, for families and groups arriving with checked bags, sports equipment or conference materials.
Lounge seating, lighting and sound for a group arrival that should feel like the start of the celebration: wedding parties, milestone birthdays and bachelorette weekends.
For conventions, teams, tours and wedding guests. Larger groups run on several vehicles with one schedule and one coordinator. See the mini bus.
| Travelers | Luggage | Usual choice |
|---|---|---|
| 1–3 | Carry-ons and 2–3 large bags | Luxury sedan |
| 3–6 | A large bag each, golf bags, car seats | Executive SUV |
| 8–10 | Light luggage, celebration arrival | Stretch limousine: see ATL airport limo service |
| 7–14 | Group luggage | Mercedes Sprinter |
| 15–30 | Conference or wedding-guest luggage | Mini bus shuttle |
Passenger capacity and luggage capacity are not the same thing. A full-size SUV that seats six comfortably may only take four people when everyone has a large suitcase, and a Sprinter loaded with fourteen passengers has less room for bags than one carrying ten. That is why every ATL quote asks for both the passenger count and the bag count.
Tell us about oversized items too: golf bags, skis, strollers, wheelchairs, musical instruments or trade-show cases. We choose the vehicle around the real load, or add a second vehicle for luggage when that is the better option for a group.
Rideshare and taxis are fine for some trips. A pre-arranged car service is built for the trips where timing, comfort and a known price matter.
Business travelers on a schedule, families with children and luggage, VIP and executive guests who should be met inside, international arrivals after a long flight, and groups who want to ride together. For a short solo trip with a carry-on, rideshare can be fine; for everything else, a reserved car takes the risk out of the last leg.
| Private car service | Rideshare | |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicle and driver | Reserved in advance, details sent before you land | Matched when you request a ride |
| Price | Flat, agreed before the trip | Can rise with demand |
| Where you meet at the Domestic Terminal | Inside near baggage claim, or at the lower-level curb | The rideshare zone in the North Economy lot, a walk from baggage claim |
| Where you meet at the International Terminal | Inside on the Arrivals level, or the Arrivals outer curb | The Arrivals curb, after you request a ride |
| Delays | Pickup follows your flight | Request a new ride after you land |
| Luggage and groups | Vehicle sized to bags and passengers | Depends on the car that arrives |
| Help with bags | Yes, with meet-and-greet | Varies |
| Child car seats | Requested in advance and confirmed on the quote | Depends on the platform and the car |
The wait time included after landing is written on your quote, and it starts from the actual landing time, not the scheduled time. International arrivals get more included wait time because customs can take a while. If you need longer, for example after a long-haul flight with checked bags, add extra wait time when you book.
Need to change the time, the address or the passenger count? Reply to the confirmation and the booking is updated. Cancellation terms depend on the vehicle and the date and are written on your quote before you confirm.
Every ATL transfer is quoted as a flat price per trip. These are the factors that set it, and each one appears as a line on your quote, so there is nothing to discover after the ride.
| Factor | How it affects the price |
|---|---|
| Vehicle class | The biggest factor: a sedan, an SUV, a limousine and a mini bus are priced very differently |
| Pickup or drop-off address | Set by the distance from Hartsfield-Jackson |
| Time of day and date | Late-night, holiday and peak-event dates can differ |
| Meet-and-greet | Listed separately from curbside pickup |
| Wait time and stops | Extra wait time and added stops are separate lines |
| Gratuity, tolls and airport fees | Shown on the quote, not added afterward |
We run private transfers between Hartsfield-Jackson and every part of metro Atlanta, plus long-distance trips across Georgia and the neighboring states. Every route is quoted as a flat price.

For teams, conference delegates, wedding guests and family reunions, a Sprinter or mini bus works as a private shuttle that carries only your group. Send the list of flights and we plan the best option: one vehicle that waits for the last arrival, two runs grouped by landing time, or a sedan for the one traveler who lands hours apart. See group transportation and our Atlanta airport shuttle service.

Met me right where instructed, and even helped me because I got lost. I was flying to Atlanta for the first time and he was very helpful. Carried my bags and made the trip very simple for me, the actual car ride itself was lovely, offered me water, made sure I was content and happy above all else. Great conversationalist, as well as very comfortable to be around. I find myself to be a very antisocial person very shy. But with him I felt safe and comfortable. His music taste was pretty good too!!
