Group airport transportation
Group airport transfers are the most common group booking. A Mercedes Sprinter or mini bus carries the whole group and its bags from Hartsfield-Jackson to the hotel, the venue or the office. When people arrive on different flights, we either hold the vehicle until the last flight lands or split the group into two runs, whichever fits the schedule better.
For large group airport transportation, send the list of flights and the bag count. See Atlanta airport shuttle service for how private shuttles are planned.
Van transportation to the airport works best when the van is private: a Sprinter carries only your group and leaves when you are ready.
Group transportation in Atlanta: choosing the right vehicle
Luggage takes the space of passengers. A group of twelve with suitcases may need a larger vehicle than twelve people going to dinner.
People searching for Atlanta bus rentals often mean exactly this: a bus with a professional driver. Ours always come with a chauffeur.
| Group size | Vehicle | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 7–14 | Mercedes Sprinter | Airport groups, teams, wine tours |
| 14–18 | Stretch SUV limousine | Celebrations, prom groups |
| 20–30 | Mini bus | Conference and wedding-guest shuttles |
| 20–40 | Party bus | Birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties |
Atlanta limo bus, luxury limousine bus and party bus
A limo bus or party bus turns the ride into part of the event: perimeter seating, lighting and a sound system. They are popular for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, prom and wedding parties. Booked by the hour, with the stops you choose.
Other group trips we plan
- College and school transportation, including move-in days and team travel
- Corporate events and conferences
- Game days and concerts
- Brewery and wine tours
- Church groups, family reunions and day trips
How many people and bags fit in each group vehicle
Seat counts tell only half the story. Luggage, coolers, strollers and sports gear take space, and a vehicle that fits fourteen people for dinner may fit fewer on an airport run. This is how we size group transportation in Atlanta.
| Vehicle | Passengers | With full airport luggage |
|---|---|---|
| Executive SUV | Up to 6 | Fewer passengers if everyone has a large suitcase |
| Mercedes Sprinter | 10–14 | Luggage space at the rear; plan the smaller number for full luggage |
| Mini bus | 20–30 | Luggage space depends on the model; confirmed on the quote |
| Party bus | 20–40 | Built for people, not luggage; not used for airport runs with suitcases |
One large vehicle or several smaller ones?
A single vehicle keeps the group together and usually costs less per person. Several smaller vehicles make sense when people start or finish in different places, or when part of the group needs to leave early.
| Situation | Usually better |
|---|---|
| Everyone leaves from and returns to the same place | One large vehicle |
| Pickups in different suburbs | One vehicle with several stops, or two vehicles if the suburbs are far apart |
| Arrivals on very different flights | Two runs, or a sedan for the outlier |
| Part of the group leaves early | A main vehicle plus a sedan or SUV |
| A group larger than one vehicle | Several vehicles on one schedule |

Chauffeured group transportation vs renting a passenger van
Large passenger vans also handle very differently from a car when they are fully loaded, which is one reason many organizations prefer a vehicle with a professional driver.
| Chauffeured Sprinter or mini bus | Self-drive passenger van | |
|---|---|---|
| Who drives | A professional chauffeur | Someone in your group |
| Navigation and parking | Handled by the chauffeur | Your responsibility |
| Driving after a long day or a dinner | Not a concern | Someone stays sober and alert |
| Fuel, parking and the return | Included in the plan | Extra costs and an extra trip |
| Comfort | Forward-facing or lounge seating, luggage space | Basic bench seating |

Rules on board for group trips
- The passenger count cannot exceed the seats in the vehicle
- One group contact for the chauffeur on the day
- No alcohol on any trip with riders under 21; the policy for other trips is written on the quote
- Smoking and vaping are not allowed in the vehicles
- Stops not on the plan are added only if the time reserved allows
Group transportation for tournaments and conventions
Atlanta hosts youth sports tournaments, cheer and dance competitions, conventions and fan events most weekends of the year. Teams and groups book a Sprinter or mini bus for the weekend: airport pickup, hotel to venue each morning, team meals and the airport run on the last day. One schedule and one quote cover the whole weekend.
How group trips are planned
Send the date, the passenger count, the bag count and every pickup and drop-off. We reply with the vehicle or vehicles, the schedule and the total on one written quote. For airport groups, include each traveler’s flight, and for events, the start and end times.
